While Rajaguru, the recently suspended North West Union secretary, denies visiting the office, he implicates another member, Lakshmanan, for conducting celebratory activities following the party's May victory.

The conversation takes a sharp turn when the Minister declares her intention to initiate legal action against Lakshmanan. "I will lodge a police complaint against Lakshmanan and put him behind bars," Jagadeshwari states in the clip, according to the leaked dialogue. This exchange reportedly occurred shortly after the TVK assumed power, though the audio only gained public traction recently. Following these internal tensions, P. Chinnappar, the Virudhunagar Central District secretary, officially issued Rajaguru’s suspension notice on July 21, 2026.

This incident adds to a series of controversies involving the Social Welfare Minister this summer. In June, Jagadeshwari formally protested to Virudhunagar Collector N.O. Sukhaputra over a perceived slight in protocol. She argued that her name was improperly positioned below that of her Cabinet colleague, S. Keerthana, on official documents, asserting her status as the primary "local Minister" for the district.
