Tamil Nadu convict Selvam wins Iyal Award from Canada-based group

Tamil Nadu life convict C. Selvam won the Iyal Award for non-fiction from the Canada-based Tamil Literary Garden for his book Oru Thooku Kaithiyin Vaakumoolam. The memoir, released December 2025, reflects prison life and has drawn praise from peers and readers alike.
