A man accused in a ₹6.7 crore State Bank of India loan fraud case, who had previously escaped police custody in September 2025, has been arrested in Hyderabad. He was sent to judicial remand on Friday.

Accused in Sukhbir Singh Badal Attack Sent to Custody Until August 24
Jaspal Singh, arrested for allegedly attacking Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal, was remanded to police custody until August 24. Singh was apprehended immediately after the incident at Mata Sahib Gurdwara.
