The DMK and AIADMK have refused to participate in Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay’s legislative consultation regarding the 2026 Delimitation Bill. While the session seeks a unified state response to constituency redrawing, nearly two-thirds of the state’s federal representatives will be absent.
