Raveli pattu: Kerala’s ancient storytelling on the brink

Raveli pattu, a centuries-old Kerala storytelling art, is fading as few practitioners remain. Practised by the Veerasaiva pandaram community, it wanders door-to-door during specific lunar months, but interest from younger generations is waning and performances are now rare.
