The CBI has filed an FIR accusing former FCI and NERAMAC officials and private traders in a Rs 28.87-crore alleged scam tied to subsidised rice allocations. The agency alleges non-auction allotments under the Open Market Sale Scheme were misused to benefit traders rather than labourers and the poor.
