Submerged Denisovan leg bones imply taller stature in Asia

Researchers analyzing two Denisovan leg bones recovered from the seafloor near Taiwan estimate greater height and body mass than many Asian hominins. The findings come from CT scans and ancient proteins, with dating placing the bones at about 45,000–43,000 years ago.
