Kerala's Food and Civil Supplies Minister Anoop Jacob has asked the Union Petroleum Minister to shorten the domestic cooking gas waiting period during Onam. Current waits of 25 days in cities and 45 days in rural areas are seen as problematic for families during the festive season.
