Building Future Business Leaders at T-Works

On August 2, the T-Works facility will transform into a vibrant commercial hub managed entirely by children. The 'Littlepreneurs' event, scheduled from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., marks an experimental approach to youth education where participants assume the roles of artisans, retailers, and authors. Organized by Late Checkout in collaboration with Dolce Amore, the initiative moves beyond traditional learning to give children direct experience in the marketplace.

A Diverse Range of Student-Led Ventures

Young entrepreneurs will staff stalls featuring an eclectic mix of self-made and curated products. Attendees can expect to find:

  • Handmade jewelry and traditional bangles
  • Custom 3D-printed toys and Japanese erasers
  • Literary works and original 'kindness cards'
  • Sustainable offerings like plants and prepared snack packs

Beyond the retail experience, the organizers have integrated educational components to provide a well-rounded foundation in commerce. The event features a dedicated financial literacy zone alongside workshops focused on art and food preparation.

Focus on Financial Literacy and Real-World Skills

Late Checkout founder Priyanjana Roy Das stated that the program's primary objective is to cultivate early awareness of financial management and entrepreneurial thinking. According to a press release issued on July 27, 2026, the marketplace serves as a practical stage for children to test their creative and business instincts.
