Valencia CF to Play Final Pre-season Friendly Against Hercules CF

Valencia CF is set to play their last pre-season friendly match of the 2026-27 season against Hercules CF on Thursday at 19:30 at the Estadi Antonio Puchades in Paterna.

The match will be broadcast live on the public television channel À Punt and its website, allowing viewers in the Valencian Community to watch the encounter. Xavi Alberola will narrate the game, with commentary from former Valencia player Fernando Gómez Colomer.

Valencia CF will field their strongest lineup for this preparation match. Several key players, including Dimitrievski, Jesús Vázquez, César Tárrega, De Haas, Guido Rodríguez, Filip Ugrinic, Pepelu, Javi Guerra, Sato, and Hugo Duro, were not called up for the friendly against Teruel to ensure they gain minutes against Hercules. This game marks Valencia CF's final match before commencing their league campaign on August 22nd against Celta de Vigo at Mestalla. Their league debut was postponed weeks ago due to Real Betis’ participation in a final, necessitating an adjustment to Valencia's schedule to maintain match fitness.

Tickets for the friendly are available exclusively to VCF Members. Each member can obtain two free tickets, one for themselves and one for a guest. The application period for tickets runs from Tuesday, August 11th, at 18:00 until Wednesday, August 12th, at 23:59, or until supplies are exhausted. Entry to the stadium requires presentation of the ticket and a national ID, with names needing to match. Seating will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Large items such as drums and megaphones are not permitted, and banners must be smaller than 3x2 meters.
