Corinthian Secures Victory in Memorial Feature
Corinthian outperformed the field to capture the Colonel B. Santosh Babu Memorial Trophy, the primary event during the racing program on July 28. Owned by C. Aryama Sundaram and handled by trainer D. Netto, the horse benefited from a clinical ride by P. Trevor. In the 1,400m contest, Corinthian crossed the line three lengths ahead of Wolf Creek, followed by China Town and Glorious Power. The victory justified the horse's position as the race favorite.
Milestone for Magan Singh Parmar
The afternoon was marked by a significant career achievement for trainer Magan Singh Parmar. Saddling Ek in the first division of the Shamirpet Trophy, Parmar recorded his 100th career win at the Hyderabad circuit. Jockey Akshay Kumar steered the winner to a five-length victory over La Quinta and Zindabad, clocking 1m 14.88s for the 1,200m distance.
