Thenmaria Suganthi, a teacher for Class 11, reportedly entered an adjacent Class 10 classroom and caned approximately ten students. This action was allegedly a response to noise emanating from the Class 10 room during her Class 11 session. The students sustained severe hand injuries, leading to swelling that made it impossible for them to write.
