During an orientation session for the new cohort of first-year engineering students and their families, Reddy argued that meeting modern professional requirements hinges on a commitment to constant skill acquisition.

Dean of Operations and Growth, R. Archana Reddy, provided an analytical breakdown of the university’s recent professional outcomes. The figures for the 2026 graduating class demonstrate significant corporate engagement:

• Over 1,500 internships secured by students.
• 1,530 total placement offers recorded.
• A top domestic salary package of ₹44 lakh per annum provided by Amazon.
• A 100% placement rate achieved specifically within the Agriculture department.

The incoming student body reflects a broad geographic footprint, drawing representatives from every district in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Beyond regional borders, the batch includes students from more than 20 Indian states and various international territories.

Building a Collaborative Academic Culture

Vice-Chancellor Deepak Garg advocated for a shift in student methodology, urging the freshmen to prioritize peer-based learning and vigorous classroom engagement over passive study habits.
