Realme has launched the Realme 16x 5G in India, a new smartphone designed with everyday users in mind, emphasizing battery life, display smoothness, and 5G connectivity. The device features a 7,000mAh battery, a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate display, and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset.

Key Features

The Realme 16x 5G boasts a 6.8-inch HD+ display with a peak brightness of 1,200 nits and the high refresh rate for enhanced visual fluidity. For photography, it includes a 50MP AI main camera on the rear and an 8MP front camera. The phone supports 45W wired fast charging and reverse charging capabilities. Durability is addressed with an IP65 rating and MIL-STD-810H certification.

Specifications and Performance

Under the hood, the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chipset, built on a 6nm process, handles performance. The device offers up to 14GB of Dynamic RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Thermal management is aided by a 5,300 mm² vapor chamber cooling system. The smartphone runs on Android 16 with realme UI, with a promise of two OS upgrades and three years of security updates.

The Realme 16x 5G is available in India with three memory configurations: 4GB RAM/128GB storage priced at INR 25,999, 6GB RAM/128GB storage at INR 27,999, and 6GB RAM/256GB storage at INR 30,999. It will be sold through Flipkart, the company's official website, and mainline retail stores starting August 13.
