The licence, effective until August 2031, was issued by the Karnataka State Transport Authority under the Karnataka On-Demand Transportation Technology Aggregators Rules, 2016. This regulatory framework is intended to provide continuity for both drivers and passengers and facilitate the expansion of Rapido's cab services within the state.
