The Congress leader dismissed these overlapping initiatives as mere political rhetoric, using the terms "hawabaazi" and "jumlebaazi" to describe the recurrent promises of reform.
The Nilekani Panel and Structural Goals
The Prime Minister’s newly established task force, led by Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani, intends to leverage technology to build a more resilient examination framework. According to government statements, this multidisciplinary team includes:

- Tapan Deka, former Intelligence Bureau Director
- V. Kamakoti, Director of IIT Chennai
- Anita Karwal, former Education Secretary

These names were announced just one day after a 36-day protest led by the Cockroach Janta Party concluded with the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. While the Prime Minister maintains that the group will deliver a foolproof, technology-driven system to overhaul NTA protocols, critics argue the effort is primarily intended to repair political optics after the most recent NEET-UG controversies.
