Bengaluru, India – August 12, 2026 – The Government of Karnataka has officially launched Tathyakosh.in, a comprehensive data discovery platform designed to serve as a public good. The initiative, developed by the Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence (ACSEL Technology Forum), aims to streamline access to the country's extensive public data resources.

IT-BT Minister Priyank Kharge, who unveiled the platform, stated that Tathyakosh.in addresses a critical need for making the vast amounts of data generated across Indian institutions discoverable, structured, and readily usable. He emphasized that India's advancements in artificial intelligence are dependent not only on talent and computing power but also on the effective utilization of existing data.
