Family Ties Linked to Bhagathnagar Heist

Police investigations into the July 22 armed dacoity at the residence of Azmath Ali in Bhagathnagar have revealed a calculated betrayal by immediate family members. Law enforcement officials named Azmath Ali’s son-in-law, Razauddin, and his grandson, Azeem Raza, as the primary architects behind the violent robbery. The duo allegedly coordinated with an outside gang to facilitate the theft of significant assets from the household.

Arrests in Uttar Pradesh

A specialized police unit tracked the suspects to Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, where they apprehended three gang members on Wednesday. The individuals, detained near a railway station, have been identified as:

  • Bhure, 22
  • Salman, 22
  • Haseen, 19

The trio appeared before a local court in Uttar Pradesh and are being transported back to Karimnagar under a transit warrant to face charges. During the operation, investigators seized 43.67 grams of gold, 64.98 grams of silver ornaments, and a cash sum of ₹2.09 lakh.

The Scope of the Loot

The original crime involved armed intruders who systematically cleared the residence of ₹21 lakh in liquid currency along with a substantial collection of precious metal jewelry. While the three suspected operatives are now in custody, the masterminds, Razauddin and Azeem Raza, remain at large. Police departments have intensified search efforts to locate and arrest the two relatives who allegedly turned on their own family to orchestrate the crime.
