Sports Interactive has initiated a new playtesting program for the upcoming Football Manager 27 (FM27), inviting a broader audience of fans to test early versions of the game before its official launch. This program is designed to gather feedback and identify bugs during the final stages of development.

The decision to expand the playtesting comes after the preceding installment, FM26, experienced a troubled launch in November, which required extensive bug fixes. Following the stabilization of FM26, the development studio is now focusing on FM27 and aims to incorporate user feedback more effectively through this wider testing initiative.

Fans interested in participating can register their interest and join a waitlist through a partnership with FirstLook. The sign-up process includes questions about players' Football Manager experience to ensure a diverse pool of testers. Successful applicants will gain access to exclusive testing forums and community channels, enabling direct interaction with the development teams.
