Morning track activities on July 29 showcased a series of sharp displays, headed by a notable performance from Final Call. Ridden by Ritesh G., the thoroughbred covered 1000 meters on the outer sand in 1:13.5. Clocking 41.5 seconds for the final 600 meters, the horse demonstrated readiness for upcoming competition with a fluid and commanding gallop.
Inner Sand and Distance Drills
Working on the inner sand, African Gold caught the eye of observers. With R. Pradeep at the reins, the horse completed a 1000-meter circuit in 1:04.5, finishing the last 600 meters in 38 seconds. The move was executed with significant ease. Meanwhile, Queen Maxima displayed stamina over 1200 meters. The horse timed 1:28 for the full distance, passing the 1000-meter mark at 1:14 and concluding the final 600 meters in 46 seconds.
Sprint and Technical Assessments
Several runners focused on shorter bursts or technical easing during the session:
