Giriyappanavar, Commissioner of Police N. Kannan, and Corporation Commissioner Katta Ravi Teja inaugurated the enrollment process by signing up as early participants. The event, slated for December 20, operates as a collaboration between the Coimbatore Cancer Foundation (CCF) and the local running community.

Since its 2013 debut, this athletic initiative has generated more than ₹7.5 crore. These funds directly subsidize cancer awareness campaigns, patient assistance, and various community health programs. Organizers anticipate a massive turnout this year, with a projected 27,000 individuals expected to take part in the city's largest wellness demonstration.
