The CJP alleged that venue management cancelled their booking under pressure, and that other local venue owners declined to host the meeting after being intimidated. Dipke claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was exerting this pressure, though no evidence was presented to support this assertion. Dipke stated that despite these obstacles, the CJP would not be deterred by pressure or threats.

The CJP previously organized a 36-day protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar concerning the NEET paper leak. This earlier agitation is reported to have led to the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan from his position as Union Education Minister.
