US National, Khalistani Extremist Among 5 Caught Entering India Illegally From Nepal

Security forces operating near the Nepal border have arrested five men who were attempting to enter India illegally. Among those detained are a United States national and an individual identified by authorities as a Khalistani extremist.
In addition to the foreign national and the extremist, three Indian citizens were taken into custody during the operation. These individuals have been identified as Suresh Kumar Pathak and Dilip Upadhyay, both from Rupaidiha, along with a vehicle driver named Rahul Kumar.
The arrests were the result of a coordinated effort between the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and the Uttar Pradesh Police. Law enforcement agencies are currently conducting investigations to determine the motives behind the unauthorized crossing and the potential involvement of larger networks.
