US-Based NRIs Donate Hearing Equipment to Eluru District Special Students
Police Superintendent K. Pratap Shiva Kishore visited Dondapadu to distribute donated hearing aids to local students. The initiative was funded by an NRI couple living in the United States to support children with disabilities.
Distribution Event at Parivarthan Special School
Superintendent of Police K. Pratap Shiva Kishore arrived at the Parivarthan Special School in Dondapadu village on July 27, 2026, to distribute specialized hearing equipment to the student body. This intervention aims to assist children with hearing impairments in their daily educational activities and personal development.
Philanthropic Support from the Diaspora
The equipment was secured through the financial support of Ravella Kishore Prasad and his wife, Swarna, an NRI couple residing in the United States. School principal D. Srinivas Reddy confirmed the source of the donation during the event. While officiating the distribution, SP Kishore thanked the donors for their contribution to the welfare of the students in the Eluru district.

During his visit, the SP spent time interacting directly with the students. He provided information regarding various government-sponsored facilities and programs specifically designed to support children with special needs. The session focused on the following points:
