Thunderstorm forecast in 17 Telangana districts on July 21

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm forecast for 17 Telangana districts for Tuesday (July 21, 2026).

According to IMDs latest bulletin, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Kamareddy and Mahabubnagar districts.

Additionally, strong surface wings are very likely to prevail at isolated pockets in remaining districts of the state.

Hyderabad city and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see a partly cloudy sky. “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur in parts of the city towards evening or night. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 34℃ and 24℃ respectively,” as per the bulletin.
