Son Of Brazil's Ex-President Bolsonaro Secures US Green Card
Eduardo Bolsonaro, the son of Brazil's former president, has successfully obtained a permanent residency green card in the United States. He cited a need for protection against what he characterizes as legal persecution by the Brazilian Supreme Court.

Eduardo Bolsonaro, a federal deputy in Brazil and the third son of former President Jair Bolsonaro, confirmed he has secured a United States green card. The lawmaker stated that the move is a precautionary measure to ensure his safety and legal standing outside of his home country.
The move comes amid ongoing investigations led by the Brazilian Supreme Court into the activities of the former president and his inner circle. Eduardo Bolsonaro emphasized that his relocation efforts are personal and intended to shield himself from judicial actions he deems politically motivated.
While his father remains under various legal probes in Brazil, Eduardo clarified that his primary goal was to protect himself rather than to facilitate a broader relocation for his father. He maintains that the current judicial environment in Brazil poses a threat to his political and personal freedom.
