Direct Assistance for Urban Housing Applicants

Telangana Housing and Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy announced on Saturday that residents within the CURE limits of Hyderabad can now access a dedicated support line for the Indiramma Houses project. By dialing 040-24603572, citizens can obtain clarity on eligibility standards, required documentation, and the status of their applications. To ensure accessibility for all residents, information is available in Telugu, Urdu, Hindi, and English.

Technical Specifications and Financial Requirements

The government recently initiated the scheme within city limits, targeting the construction of 7,680 flats distributed across 16 Assembly constituencies as part of a larger one-lakh-unit goal. Each residential unit covers 528 square feet and consists of a hall, kitchen, and single bedroom. The financial structure of the allotment includes:

  • Government Subsidy: ₹5 lakh per unit.
  • Beneficiary Contribution: ₹6 lakh.
  • Administrative Fees: A ₹100 application fee.
  • Security Deposit: ₹10,000 Earnest Money Deposit (EMD).

Application Channels and Selection Protocols

Minister Reddy clarified that the EMD must be submitted via net banking or UPI. This deposit is fully refundable to applicants who are not successful in the final lottery selection. Interested parties can file their applications through three primary channels: the MeeSeva web portal, physical MeeSeva centers, or via a dedicated WhatsApp service at 8096958096.

Officials advise all applicants to retain their MeeSeva receipts, payment confirmations, and unique application numbers. It is also vital that the mobile number registered during the application remains active for future communication regarding the allotment process.
