Prime Video has scheduled the global streaming debut of the Tamil original suspense series, Vadhandhi Season Two — The Mystery of Mani, for August 7, 2026. This eight-episode installment, helmed by creator and director Andrew Louis, shifts the franchise's focus to the cultural environment of Madurai. The production draws heavily on the atmospheric energy of the Jallikattu festival to frame its central investigation.

The Core Conflict and Cast

The narrative introduces SI Moosa Raza, portrayed by M. Sasikumar, a police officer whose commitment to truth-seeking places him at odds with political interests and sensationalist media. The plot unfolds after workers discover skeletal remains during a highway inauguration ceremony. This finding forces Raza into a confrontation with a mysterious prisoner identified as Mani.
