State policy regarding the 7.5% reservation for government school students significantly influenced the Round 1 results. In the academic category under this quota, 1,683 students secured provisional allotments, while 560 received tentative orders. The vocational category for government school students saw 136 provisional and 60 tentative allotments distributed.
Deadlines and Compliance Requirements
TNEA officials have instituted strict timelines for the finalization of these seats. Candidates holding tentative allotment orders must visit their designated TNEA Facilitation Centers (TFCs) to submit original documentation and process tuition fees. This step is mandatory for those seeking to confirm their current seat or participate in upward movement opportunities.
