The infant, a resident of Mamidakulapalli village in the Sri Sathya Sai district, had been receiving medical care at GGH since July 22 due to a history of seizures. Following her recovery on Tuesday morning, she was immediately transferred to the Intensive Care Unit. According to GGH Superintendent Dr. Malleshwari, the infant remains in stable condition while continuing her scheduled treatment.

The 11-Town police have opened an official probe into the incident to determine how the child moved from the ward to an outdoor area.
