Mega private-sector job fair in Gobichettipalayam on July 25

A mega private-sector job fair, jointly organised by the district administration and the District Employment and Career Guidance Centre, will be held at Palaniammal Girls Higher Secondary School in Gobichettipalayam on July 25.

The fair will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will be inaugurated by the Minister for Revenue and Disaster Management K.A. Sengottaiyan, who will also distribute appointment orders to selected candidates.

According to a release issued by Collector S. Kandasamy, over 300 private-sector employers from Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Salem and Chennai districts will participate in the fair. Recruiters are expected to fill more than 10,000 vacancies across sectors.

The fair is open to all job seekers interested in private-sector employment, and participation is free. Candidates selected and appointed through the fair will continue to retain their Employment Exchange registration, the Collector said.
