Origin and Background
The entire quintet was born onsite at the Kobe facility during May. Known scientifically as Otocolobus manul, these small wild cats are famous for their stocky builds and dense fur, which helps them survive high altitudes. While often described by observers as having a perpetually irritable facial expression, the species is a high-interest subject for conservationists and wildlife enthusiasts alike.
