Grand Egyptian Museum's Architects To Build Startup Museum In Bengaluru
The architectural firm behind the Grand Egyptian Museum has been selected to design a new startup museum in Bengaluru. The facility will be overseen by the Karnataka Technology Innovation Museum Foundation to showcase the city's entrepreneurial growth.

Heneghan Peng Architects, the Irish firm renowned for designing the Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza, has been appointed to lead the architectural development of a new startup-focused museum in Bengaluru. The project aims to serve as a landmark destination that highlights the technological evolution and innovation ecosystem of India's Silicon Valley.
The Karnataka Technology Innovation Museum Foundation has been officially established as the legal entity responsible for the execution and management of the project. This governing body will coordinate with international designers and local contractors to ensure the facility meets global standards for interactive and educational exhibits.
Expected to be situated in a central tech hub, the museum will feature dedicated spaces for startup history, digital displays of emerging technologies, and collaborative areas for modern entrepreneurs. The initiative is part of a broader government effort to document the achievements of the state's technology sector for future generations.
