Doctor Pushes Bicycle Through Waist-Deep Floodwater To Reach Hospital
A dedicated physician was filmed navigating extreme urban flooding on foot while pushing his bicycle to ensure he reached his workplace. Dr. Chu, who maintains a daily cycling commute, continued his journey despite water levels reaching waist height.

Dr. Chu encountered unexpected environmental challenges during his commute when heavy rainfall caused severe flooding along his usual route. Although he typically cycles to the hospital, the rising water levels made it impossible to pedal, forcing him to dismount and wade through the torrents.
Witnesses observed the doctor pushing his bicycle through waist-deep water to reach his shift on time. He later stated that he had not anticipated the water would reach such significant depths during his routine morning travel.
The incident has highlighted the commitment of medical staff during extreme weather conditions. Despite the physical difficulty of moving through the submerged streets, the physician successfully completed the journey to provide patient care. Source: SCMP
