Discovery has confirmed the upcoming release of a two-part documentary titled Declassified: Operation Sindoor. Scheduled to premiere on August 15, the production focuses on the intensive military response following the Pahalgam terror attack in April of last year. The narrative spans the initial strategic planning through the execution of the operation on May 7, offering a granular look at 88 hours of active conflict.

The Launch of a New Franchise

This documentary serves as the debut title for Warner Bros. Discovery’s new "Declassified" franchise. Sai Abishek, Head of Factual Entertainment, Lifestyle & Kids for South Asia at Warner Bros. Discovery, stated that the project aims to bring audiences closer to defining historical moments. The series features a comprehensive range of perspectives, including:

• Representatives from the Army, Navy, and Air Force branches of the Indian armed forces.
• First-hand accounts from ground operatives and personnel involved in the mission.
• In-depth analysis from defense experts and veteran journalists.
• Detailed breakdowns of the military strategy and key decision-making processes.
