Prasad Raju Entrant Secures Main Event

The July 27 racing program reached its peak when Diablo, guided by jockey P. Sai Kumar, emerged victorious in the featured Anab E Shahi Plate. Owned by a large syndicate including Ashok Ranpise, Seshadri Reddy Pochana, and others, the K.S.V. Prasad Raju trainee clocked 1m 12.90s over the 1,200m course. The finish saw a intense battle for minor placings, with Ashoka and Black Onyx settling into a dead heat for second, trailing by one length.

Sequeira and Kumar Achieve Triple Success

Trainer R.H. Sequeira and jockey B.R. Kumar dominated the mid-to-late segments of the card, effectively locking in a treble apiece. Their collaborative success spanned several key races:

  • Basara Trophy: Quattro (58/10) fended off Buddy by a half-length under B.R. Kumar's guidance.
  • Salar Jung Trophy: Catch The Worm secured a neck victory over Emerald Touch in 1m 14.23s.
  • Tenacity Plate: Ilene capped the day for the duo with a commanding three-and-a-quarter length win in the finale.

Day of Dead Heats and Tight Finishes

Precision timing dictated the results across several other divisions. In the first leg of the Con Amore Plate, Bhairava secured a narrow victory while Certainty and Secret Saint finished in an inseparable dead heat for second. Earlier, Ojas Maximus took the division I Adilabad Plate in 1m 07.07s, while My Way My Rules captured division II by a slim neck margin. Performance consistency also marked the second division of the Con Amore Plate, where G. Naresh piloted Perception to a four-and-a-half length win, the widest margin of the afternoon.
