DC Studios showcased the first official trailer for Lanterns during a San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) presentation on July 25, 2026. This eight-episode drama functions as a dark police procedural, centered on the characters of John Stewart and Hal Jordan. Veterans of the intergalactic Green Lantern force, they find themselves pulled into a murder investigation in middle America that carries implications for the wider cosmos.

The series features a high-profile ensemble led by Kyle Chandler as the legendary Hal Jordan and Aaron Pierre as the newcomer John Stewart. They are joined by a cast including:
