Legal Uniformity and National Identity

During the BJP Minority Morcha State Executive Committee session in Vijayawada, state party chief P. V. N. Madhav asserted that while religious practice remains a private right, the legal framework of the state must apply universally. He argued that implementing a Uniform Civil Code (UCC) acts as a mechanism to remove social friction and establish a foundation of equal opportunity. To illustrate the viability of such a system within a diverse context, Madhav pointed to Indonesia, a nation with a Muslim majority that utilizes a common legal code.

Socio-Economic Integration of Pasmanda Muslims

The leadership highlighted a specific focus on the Pasmanda Muslim community, emphasizing that their advancement depends on aggressive improvements in education, vocational training, and employment. Madhav noted that Central government welfare initiatives under Prime Minister Narendra Modi operate without religious or caste-based bias, specifically reaching impoverished Muslim households. To catalyze this progress, the BJP urged minority youth to seek strategic roles in the following sectors:

• The Indian Armed Forces
• Union and State Civil Services
• Science and technology industries

Civic Harmony and Cultural Ethos

The meeting, presided over by State President of the BJP Minority Morcha Syed Basha, framed the concept of Hindutva as a cultural foundation of tolerance and universal values rather than a narrow religious definition. After paying homage to the late A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, Madhav called on citizens to prioritize communal peace and national unity. The party maintained that its vision for inclusive development requires a collective commitment to nation-building that transcends sectarian divisions.
