Bharathy Bhaskar honoured as Super Chennai’s Icon of the Month

Orator, author and television personality Bharathy Bhaskar was honoured as Super Chennai’s Icon of the Month at the latest edition of Super Chennai Arattai on Friday.
Super Chennai is a social impact initiative launched by CREDAI Chennai, aimed at redefining Chennai as a vibrant, future-ready global city. Through every edition of Super Chennai Arattai, Super Chennai continues to celebrate changemakers while fostering meaningful conversations that showcase the people, stories and spirit that define Chennai.
In a conversation, Ms. Bhaskar reflected on her journey in public speaking, saying perseverance and the encouragement of her teachers helped build her confidence. She stressed that effective communication is as much about listening as speaking.
Ranjeeth Rathod, Managing Director of Super Chennai, said Ms. Bhaskar was being recognised for her contribution to public discourse and her role in inspiring generations through her writings and speeches. The event also felicitated the winners of the Super Chennai Summer Clicks 2026 photography contest.
