During a high-profile presentation at San Diego Comic-Con, Apple TV offered a first glimpse into its adaptation of William Gibson’s Neuromancer. The footage introduces Chiba City, a sprawling urban environment where the lines between artificial intelligence, criminal enterprise, and human biology have blurred. This 10-episode series focuses on atmospheric world-building, showcasing holographic skylines and the gritty aesthetics of cybernetic enhancement.

Cast and Creative Oversight

Callum Turner leads the cast as Case, a disgraced data thief pulled from obscurity for a dangerous final assignment. He is joined by Briana Middleton, who portrays the iconic mercenary Molly, recognizable by her signature mirrored eye implants and enhanced physical capabilities. The ensemble cast includes several notable performers:

Despite its deep influence on modern media, the property has spent decades in development hell without a successful live-action translation. Apple’s production marks the first time Gibson’s cyberspace concept will be rendered for the screen in a long-form format. The series is currently scheduled to premiere on January 22, 2027, positioning it as a significant pillar of the platform's upcoming science fiction slate.
