Statewide Digital Health Integration and Implementation

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced on Saturday that the 'Sanjeevani' programme will begin its statewide rollout in August. During an address at Aspari in the Alur Assembly constituency of Kurnool district, Naidu detailed how the flagship initiative will function as an integrated digital system designed to enhance healthcare delivery. The project centralizes comprehensive health data from Primary Health Centres to the state level on a single platform.

The system mandates a digital health profile for every individual, facilitating the issuance of ABHA Health IDs to all family members. This technological framework incorporates several critical components:

  • Integration of non-communicable disease monitoring and maternal-child health services.
  • Coordination of '108' emergency responders and '104' mobile medical units.
  • Synchronization of e-Aushadhi and laboratory services.
  • Implementation of AI-based medical assistance, predictive analytics, and digital nerve centres.
  • Telemedicine and remote care capabilities for immediate accessibility.

Citizens will gain direct access to personal medical records and appointment scheduling via the Sanjeevani Citizen Wellness App. Naidu emphasized that the administration aim is to secure healthy households and villages as a precursor to a healthy state, treating public health and economic welfare with equal urgency.

Economic Initiatives and Infrastructure Development

Beyond healthcare, the Chief Minister highlighted broader social support measures currently in place, including the Annadata Sukhibhava scheme providing ₹20,000 to farmers and the monthly disbursal of pensions on the first day of each month. Other active welfare programs mentioned include Thalliki Vandanam for students, Stree Shakti for women's empowerment, and the Deepam 2.0 LPG initiative.

Addressing administrative concerns, Naidu revealed that blockchain technology is being utilized to secure land records following previous disputes. The state plans to distribute pattadar passbooks on the 9th of every month, with the comprehensive land re-survey scheduled for completion by March 2027.

Industrial Expansion in Rayalaseema

The Chief Minister outlined a significant economic trajectory for the Rayalaseema region, projecting private and public investments totaling ₹1 lakh crore to transform the area into an industrial and horticultural hub. Key industrial milestones include:

  • The commencement of production at the Kadapa Steel Plant by 2028.
  • Incoming manufacturing facilities from Hero Motors, LG, and Dalmia.
  • The recent federal clearance of the Kurnool-Bellary railway line.

Naidu also confirmed plans to provide solar power to every household, reinforcing the government's focus on sustainable infrastructure alongside its digital health and industrial targets.
