The visit served to finalize arrangements for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled arrival on August 1. At the center of this state visit is the formal opening of the Bhogapuram International Airport, an infrastructure development designed to serve as a catalyst for growth in North Andhra.

Administrative planning intensified through several review sessions held in Bobbili, Gajapathinagaram, and Vizianagaram. During a press briefing at the residence of Bobbili MLA R.V.S.K.K. Rangarao, Minister Janardhan Reddy confirmed that the NDA coalition expects two lakh citizens to attend the ceremony. Ministers and legislators are currently synchronizing transport and safety protocols to manage the influx of attendees from various constituencies. Key project milestones include:
