AISA calls for ‘Bihar Bandh’ on July 25, against police lathi charge on protesting students

The All India Students Association (AISA) has officially called for a 'Bihar Bandh' on July 25, citing a harsh police lathi charge on students during recent demonstrations. Protests have intensified across several districts in Bihar as students demand accountability for the alleged irregularities in the NEET examination process.
Reports from Jehanabad indicate that the situation turned violent when protesters allegedly pelted stones at the District Magistrate's official residence. In response to the escalating unrest, police personnel reportedly fired between 20 to 30 rounds to disperse the crowd and restore order in the area.
Despite the police intervention, sit-ins and rallies continue to take place throughout the state. Student leaders have condemned the use of force and reiterated their demands for a transparent investigation into the paper leak allegations that have affected thousands of medical aspirants.
