Adani Power has announced its financial results for the first quarter of the fiscal year, highlighting a substantial rise in net profit. The energy provider saw its consolidated profit reach 4,867 crore rupees, marking a 47 percent improvement compared to the same period in the previous fiscal year.

The company stated that consolidated power sale volume increased by 16.9 percent, reaching 28.8 billion units. This is a notable rise from the 24.6 billion units recorded in the prior year, reflecting a robust upward trend in energy consumption and operational efficiency.

Management attributed the performance to the integration of higher operating capacities and a consistently strong growth in power demand. These factors allowed the company to maximize its output and take advantage of favorable market conditions during the quarter.
