13 Killed As Cab Gets Buried After Landslide In Himachal's Lahaul-Spiti

A tragic accident occurred in Himachal Pradesh's Lahaul-Spiti district when a Tata Sumo vehicle was hit by a sudden landslide. The cab was reportedly traveling from Kullu toward the Pangi region when it was struck by falling boulders and debris.

Emergency response teams and local authorities rushed to the site to carry out rescue operations, but all 13 occupants of the vehicle were confirmed dead at the scene. Recovery efforts were hampered by the difficult terrain and ongoing risks of further rockfalls in the high-altitude area.

District officials have expressed their condolences and are currently working to identify the victims and inform their families. Preliminary reports suggest that the landslide was triggered by recent inclement weather patterns affecting the Himalayan state.
