Spotify is testing a new artificial intelligence feature that integrates a chatbot directly into its mobile application. This "Talk to Spotify" tool is currently being rolled out to Premium subscribers, appearing within both the Home and Now Playing views of the app.

The feature allows users to explore the platform's library including music, podcasts, and audiobooks through natural language conversations. By typing requests, listeners can receive tailored suggestions and navigate the catalog more dynamically than through traditional search methods.

This initiative represents Spotify's latest push into generative AI, following previous tools like the AI DJ and personalized translations. The company aims to enhance user engagement by providing a more interactive and conversational way to manage media playback.
