Hubli Electricity Supply Company Limited (HESCOM) has announced a series of scheduled power interruptions across various parts of Bagalkot district. The outages are necessary to facilitate critical maintenance and infrastructure upgrades at key substations to ensure long-term stability of the regional power grid.
The affected localities include the Old City areas, Vidyagiri, and several surrounding villages connected to the main distribution lines. Officials have stated that the power supply will be restricted between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM, though restoration may occur earlier if the technical work is completed ahead of schedule.
Local authorities have advised residents to plan their daily activities accordingly and ensure that sensitive electronic equipment is disconnected during the maintenance period to prevent damage from potential surges. HESCOM has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused by these essential service updates.
