A security convoy belonging to the Assam Rifles was targeted by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Nagaland, resulting in five casualties. Officials confirmed that one person died at the scene while four others sustained various injuries during the blast.
The incident occurred while the unit was engaged in an operational movement within the region. Security forces have since cordoned off the area to conduct a search operation and investigate the circumstances surrounding the attack.
