Minor's Parents "Sell" Her Baby After Rape, She Is Pregnant Again

Police in India are investigating a case where a minor girl's parents allegedly sold her infant daughter following a pregnancy resulting from rape. The minor was reportedly lured and sexually assaulted on multiple occasions starting in early 2025 by a local suspect.
According to current police reports, the girl has fallen pregnant for a second time as a result of the ongoing abuse. Officials state that the parents allegedly brokered the sale of the first child shortly after its birth to conceal the initial assault.
Law enforcement has registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The primary suspect has been detained, while investigators are questioning the parents regarding their involvement in the alleged human trafficking of the neonate.
