Maharashtra State Transport Bus Fares To Be Hiked By 13.5% From Tomorrow
The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation has announced a 13.5 percent increase in bus fares across the state starting tomorrow. This adjustment follows rising operational costs for the public transport giant which serves millions of commuters daily.

The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) is set to implement a 13.5 percent hike in bus fares effective from tomorrow. This decision aims to offset the growing financial burden and operational expenses incurred by the state-owned transport body.
As one of the largest public bus service corporations in India, MSRTC manages a fleet of more than 14,000 buses. The network provides essential connectivity across rural and urban sectors of Maharashtra, catering to a vast demographic of travelers.
